Light up the links at “The Lantern.”
Araminta is hosting its first annual golf classic, and we are inviting you to come out for a fun day of golf for a great cause at The Country Club of Maryland!
Araminta provides support services to survivors from across the state, as well as implementing education and prevention strategies so others won’t have to experience the trauma of child sex trafficking. By joining, you will be directly supporting survivors of child sex trafficking.
Our name comes from Harriet Tubman, whose birth name was Araminta and whose legacy through the Underground Railroad was to guide individuals to freedom. In honor of this legacy, we have nicknamed our golf event “The Lantern,” which was a beacon of safety in the windows of houses along Underground Railroad routes. So come out on September 19 to light up the links at The Lantern!
