Awaken Training Level 1
Join us for an introduction to human trafficking designed to awaken participants to the reality of child sex trafficking in our community. .
The training will define human trafficking and child sex trafficking, expose the underlying issues and vulnerabilities, and describe the corr
elation between slavery and human trafficking. In addition, you will learn about Araminta’s work to reduce the threat and trauma of child sex trafficking and how you can get involved.
The training will be led by Dr. Renee Murrell, who is currently Araminta’s director of community engagement and was formerly a victim advocate with the FBI.
